One of
the simplest ways to bestow your generosity on the lives of the children
and adults at CHI Centers is through a bequest. In fact, bequests of
all sizes are important because they represent an easy way to continue
support of our vital programs.
- For example, you may make a general bequest by bequeathing a specific
piece of property (real estate, jewelry, stocks or bonds), a specific
amount of money, or a percentage of your estate.
- Another example is a residuary bequest which may simply state that
Centers for the Handicapped Foundation is to receive the remainder
of your estate after certain specified bequests have been made.
- A third example of a bequest is a contingent bequest which may
be used to provide for the distribution of property in the event your
named beneficiaries do not survive you.
